His first cria shown won Reserve Champion at Upper Clutha Show in Wanaka 2006 and the judge highlighted the lustrous fleece.

Progeny: His cria have high lustre, well defined staples, and very fine fleece. One cria is under 15ľ at 9 months old.

Dam: Purrumbete Morning Sun, who is sired by Purrumbete Highlander. Morning Sun was 24.5 micron on her 11^th fleece.

Attributes: Curaca has a great genetic background, with Highlander and Hemingway as his grandsires.

Fleece: Curaca's fleece has a broad bold crimp in well defined staples with very good lustre and a soft handle. First shear 16.28ľ and third shear 21.74ľ with a curvature of 53.26 and a shear weight of 4kg.

Show results:
4th at Invercargill Royal Show 2000 in junior white/light fawn class, the largest in the show. The judge praised the length of staple and superb handle.

Progeny: Curaca's first cria have fleeces with well-defined staple structure and very soft handle.

Attributes: A well conformed male Jerome carries the genetics of two males highly regarded for their fleece quality. He has black points and would be beneficial in any dark coloured breeding programme.

A strong grey and black emphasis in his parentage, leading back to Purrumbete Highlander.

Attributes: True Blue grows a long fleece staple, including the neck fibre which can mostly be classed with the blanket. The fleece has crimp and lustre often missing in greys.
